All of this may necessitate more primary care physicians receiving startup funding directly from patients in the more of a concierge care subscription fee. Coronavirus deregulations around telehealth may actually further facilitate this, allowing doctors to work more flexible hours and convince patients that being able to receive comprehensive care or immediate consultations from the comfort of their own homes makes it worth an annual fee and perhaps some additional (but mostly predictable) charges depending on the exact plan.
