7 things to know before you use GoodRx to save on prescription drugs

GoodRx has saved me hundreds of dollars since I first started using the service a few years ago. If you’re thinking about giving it a try, I suggest that you download the mobile app for Apple or Android devices because it’s the easiest way to save on the go. I like being able to hand my phone to the pharmacist to show them the coupon —no printing required. In the past, I’ve compared GoodRx’s prices to LowestMed, a similar website and app. LowestMed was acquired in May 2018 by RetailMeNot and renamed RetailMeNot Rx Saver. Before you fill your next prescription, check one or both of these apps to make sure you’re getting the best price.
